  • Overview

Understand the power of working together. During this 1-day seminar, you'll learn to dismantle the mistrust between Business and IT and grow the success of your organisation.

This programme is offered in 2 parallel tracks - one for Business and one for IT. Each track focuses on a core skill that we consider key to any future-proof professional or manager. Choose the track you wish to follow - and get IT and Business working together!

This seminar consists of 2 tracks:

  • Business Track - for business professionals or managers.
  • IT Track - for IT professionals or managers.

Business Track - for Business Professionals and Managers

To implement business innovations or improve performance, business managers quickly turn to IT for help ... but are often faced with a set of obstacles. Ideally, business and IT should be partners in their company's progress and growth. However, reality often looks very different. The natural partnership between business managers and IT professionals is hampered by misunderstandings and sub-optimal collaboration.

In order to create better partnerships, you need to focus on what brings business and IT together. But how do you do that concretely? How do you understand the needs and language of 'the IT side'? How to create value and assure a smooth implementation process? How do you break down the barriers to developing such a collaboration?

Aligning business and IT efforts
This workshop teaches you how to align business and IT efforts to improve your organisation's customer focus and overall business performance. You will understand the power of successful alignment between Business and IT and examine key obstacles. You will leave this workshop with frameworks and tools to align and integrate your business and IT strategies more effectively.

IT Track - for IT Professionals and Managers

Increasingly, smart IT solutions are the motor of efficiency and innovation. And your business peers have found the way to IT. So, ideally, business and IT should be partners in their company's progress and growth. However, reality often looks very different. The natural partnership between business managers and IT professionals is hampered by misunderstandings and sub-optimal collaboration.

In order to create better partnerships, you need to negotiate for better collaboration - but how do you do that concretely? How do you understand the needs and language of 'the business side'? How to create value and assure a smooth implementation process? How smart do you currently negotiate - setting the stage for long-term business relationships, while getting the job done?

Create better partnerships
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to look into the mirror of your very own 'negotiation intelligence' by means of the unique NQ-scan™. The implications of your strengths and weaknesses in business collaboration are unveiled, and you will be offered a framework to significantly improve your impact in your future collaboration with business managers.
